On My Way
On My Way was composed June 11th through 23rd 2009. The work is a bright mid-tempo Latin piece set in A minor. After the introducing groove the A section sets the “On My Way” theme. After repetitions and variations we migrate up a whole step to B minor restating the same sections then transition back to A minor for the B section. We restate the A section again and transition again to the B section this time in B minor. We then return to the main A section back in A minor and in preparation for the close repeat the main theme in variations with increased intensity leading to a grand finale.
