The Untold
The Untold was composed on January 1, 2009. The piece is Scriabinesque in nature. The opening grace note melody alternates between treble and bass treatment and forms the core idea behind the piece. This banter gets interrupted by upper register color chords serving as pause. The start-and-stop motion of the core idea followed by pausing chords continues throughout leading to a multi-chord buildup to climax power chords. We then recapitulate from the top to a midpoint chordal rest stop which forms the pattern for fading on color chords to the end.
